Neon Logic

Neon Logic is a roguelike RPG set in rain-soaked neon Tokyo, where every battle is a nonogram (picross) puzzle.

A netrunner detective walks the back alleys of a cyberpunk city. Each enemy hides a picture in their mind - read the clue numbers, fill the right cells, and hack your way through.

How battles work

• Filling cells is free. Every row or column you complete gives you 1 energy, and back-to-back lines build a chain.
• Spend energy to Attack or Block.
• Fill a blank cell by mistake and it is revealed as an X - and the enemy gets to act.
• When the turn timer runs out, the turn passes and the enemy acts.
• Complete a weak line and your next attack hits the enemy's weakness for x1.5.
• Finish a picture and the next one in the enemy's mind unfolds. Your energy carries over.

Features

• 12 enemies across 4 districts - checkpoint guards, street hackers, a kabuki executioner, a cyborg ronin and more - each with their own pictures, neon backdrop and tricks: thorns, holo-veils, security locks, curses, duels.
• Over 100 relics that bend the rules - weak lines, line patterns, hints and active tools that target cells or lines.
• Gadgets, the back-alley junk dealer, missions and save slots with unlockable starting relics.
• Deterministic runs: every run can be copied as a seed + input record and replayed exactly.
• Play in English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese or Spanish. Mouse, keyboard, touch and gamepad - on touch screens, long-press or use the fill/X switch to mark cells.
